Financial options for progressive rehabilitation of Meandu Mine

Scope:
Preparation of a cash flow model incorporating the costs and returns over various life-of-mine timeframe scenarios, of potential commercial species for mine rehabilitation. Advice in relation to the activities and costs involved in planning and establishing a plantation of each vegetation type on mine spoil, the minimum commercial area, activities and costs involved in planning and establishing plantation areas, and monitoring and maintenance requirements.
Benefit to Client:
The project provided the client with a financial model to support decision making in relation to mine site rehabilitation options using commercial tree species.
