Revegetation Management Plan
Specifications
-
Scope:
Preparation of a revegetation management plan for a disturbed site including:
- Site inspection and assessment of the diversity, abundance and condition of residual species
- Preparation of a revegetation management plan to meet regulatory compliance and stakeholder expectations
-
Challenge:
Verterra's client was faced with a situation that inadvertently affected the land of an adjoining neighbour and triggered a regulatory compliance issue.
-
Solution:
By bringing a practical approach to vegetation and land management, working collaboratively with the client and landholder, and focussing on meeting multi-party interests rather than positions, Verterra was able to design a solution that addressed the regulatory compliance issue, satisfied and improved the land condition for the landholder, facilitated regeneration of an at-risk vegetation community and delivered a low-cost resolution for the client.
