Reef Credits through Grazing Land Management

Verterra’s Rehabilitation and Land Management Sector Lead, Dave Waterson, attended AgriProve’s Grazing for Soil Carbon field day last month at Tarramba. Dave gave a presentation about earning Reef Credits through the recently approved Grazing Land Management (GLM) Method, and how credits can be earned in combination with soil carbon credits (ACCUs).

The GLM Method is Australia’s first market-based method for rewarding grazing land stewardship.  Landholders were keen to understand how the method works and the opportunities for them to get involved in this important program to improve grazing productivity while protecting the reef.

Watch the video below to hear the latest on the Reef Credits program and the launch of Verterra’s new reef credit tool for landholders: DROVER.
